This ARPA Institute initiative includes the establishment of a cutting-edge electronic design automation lab, made possible through collaboration with CISCO and Cadence Design Systems.

The program is led by Vatche Souvalian from the ARPA Institute and Vahe Yeghiazaryan from Cisco. Graduate students now have access to specialized circuit design courses, supported by certified software tools and licenses provided by Cadence Design Systems. The ARPA Institute has contributed two high-performance servers, along with lab equipment, computers, training, and coordination with the NPUA administration.

A new laboratory on the 8th floor of the Electrical Engineering building is currently under construction and will soon host the equipment and training in a modern facility. Currently, the courses are being taught by two expert instructors to 47 students, with continuous oversight by the ARPA Institute. Plans are underway to expand the program, provide comprehensive textbooks and resources, and support the initiation of research projects.

ARPA Institute Upgrades the First Cleanroom in Armenia with 6 Types of Gases and Safety System

The First Class-1000 Cleanroom Established by the ARPA Institute in the Alikhanyan National Lab in Armenia is continuously being equipped with modern instruments. Just recently it was enriched with a MSO64 Tektronix, Inc., 8 Channel Mixed Signal Oscilloscope, a BK Precision Tripple Output Programable DC Power supply Model 9129B, and a Tektronix AFG-31000 Arbitrary Function Generator, Monitor and Analyzer, all donated by Prof. Ara Apkarian of UCI. Moreover, 6 types of gas were also installed outside the building and brought in the Cleanroom through (specially designed by Edward Tomassian) pipelines, equipped with the best safety system for advanced capabilities in research and development. The Alikhanyan Cleanroom is now well equipped to carry out advanced experimentation on nanomaterials, as well as quantum technology. Although we plan to enhance its capabilities to reach a global level Cleanroom and become a regional center for advanced modern research and development.

Furnace

MS064

4 ultra-high grade refined gas bottles

Tamarack Aligner

The ARPA Institute Board of Directors is excited to announce the launch of state-of-the-art advanced circuit design courses at the National Polytechnic University of Armenia (NPUA).
